McDONALD’S

WORKING WITH McDONALD’S FOR OVER 40 YEARS

Caswell have been providing comprehensive HVAC services to McDonald’s restaurant projects for over 40 years and continue to do so.

McDonald's Restaurants 1000 Award

Caswell Directors are presented with a special 1000th restaurant award

As at end 2023, Caswell have supplied commercial HVAC services on 1185 McDonald’s newbuild restaurants.

This represents a clear majority of all McDonald’s ever built in the UK.

In addition, we have worked on hundreds of refurbishments.

In terms of the newbuild projects, these can be divided into ‘in-town’ stores and off-site, factory build programmes. The latter became much more prevalent over the last 20 years and so our relationship with the Main Contractor, Algeco (formerly Elliott), has blossomed from there.

Of course we still have a presence at every site location in order to manage and perform the final installation and sign-off works. We are rightly proud of our time-served installation teams and the praise received on a regular basis from both the Client and our supply chain customers is testament to their expertise and unwavering commitment.

We are increasingly called upon to collaborate in the drive to reduce the environmental impact in both the construction and ongoing operation of restaurants. Caswell is proud to have played its part in helping to deliver McDonald’s first UK Net Zero Carbon (NZC) restaurant in Market Drayton, Shropshire…and many more to follow.

Here’s just a snapshot of some of the McDonald’s Restaurants we have worked on since we began our relationship back in 1983.
