C. Caswell Engineering Services Limited – known simply as ‘Caswell’ throughout the industry – is a Ventilation and Air-Conditioning manufacturing and contracting business
Caswell is owned and operated by the same family since it was established by Colin Coxen in 1969. Day-to-day management proudly passed to the next generation in the 1990s – through siblings Richard, Charles, Carolyn & Robert – and has continued to thrive from our manufacturing base in Lancashire ever since.
We work with many high-profile and instantly recognisable names both in the restaurant sector and other vertical markets. Maintaining excellent relationships with our clients is key and – over the decades – we have formed strong bonds with two giants in the high-street restaurant sector, McDonald’s and Nando’s.
Caswell also currently provides HVAC products and services to many other respected brands such as Dishoom, Wagamama, Wingstop, Chaiiwala and Deliveroo.

Caswell employ c.50 people. As a family company we take great pride in our people, a number of which are 2nd or 3rd generation.
All of our technical staff have accreditation within the HVAC sector – a number being active committee members of our industry’s leading associations – whilst others have high-level qualifications in their respective specialist fields and roles.
All of our senior people are time-served professionals, with many having worked their way through the company from Apprenticeship level. A number have surpassed 20-30 years’ work anniversaries with us (even 50 years in one case), so our retention rate is high.
We also look to recruit new talent with competencies and knowledge gained with other leading companies in the construction, engineering and manufacturing sectors to further enhance the level of expertise we can offer in all our operations.
Our manufacturing facility occupies 30,000 sq.ft (2787 sq.m) with additional Finished Goods stores, production, design, marketing and administrative office space.
Having all our operations within a single site allows the excellent day-to-day communication and highly-integrated work environment needed to achieve controlled, timely and, ultimately, successful outcomes for our valued customers.
